What a low opinion you have of women, to think that we are so shallow as to make that more important than finding love, sensitivity, intelligence, and humor. At the end of the day, it's not about curling up next to a pile of cash. It's about being in the arms of the person you adore.

Why is it, that a woman who is independent, unmarried, and has no desire to be married is often considered to be a closet lesbian?

I know a few girls that like me are mid-thirties and unattached, I was in Las Vegas with a girlfriend in April and we had a similar discussion, she spent 4 years at university and in her words..............

"I didn't work that hard and give that much of myself to waste the rest of my life raising children"

She has a great life and more importantly she knows it.

 

You are so dangerously close with this but not quite on target. finacial security and strength are not interchangable. Women are hard wired to seek strong men, who in this day and age are usualy bad boys with attitude problems to produce offspring but not as mates. Women seek out average men because they tend to be reliable providers and protectors while bad boys are to busy fucking the next willing receptical to be bothered with providing.

Strong men will provide strong DNA for a strong child but they cannot be counted upon to stay and help raise the child.Averge guys dont get that much pussy so when they do score they tend to stick around for the long term and as a result make better fathers and husbands. This has been the case since the days when humans roamed around naked and lived in hollow logs and caves.

Where I live its not uncommon to see painfuly average looking guys with pretty decent five and six figure salaried jobs and good educations married to absolute knockouts.Not dumb eye candy wives either but college educated professional women. But if you watch the wives you can see thier eyes wander every time some great looking uber stud walks by and they get wet at the sound of a Harley starting up. But they married Casper Milqutoast because he has a good job and isnt going to strand her with three kids.

Most women now realy dont need men for much more than genetic materiel to produce larve. But the hard wiring still gets in there and you would be hard pressed to meet a woman that would say no to being kept in the lifestyle of a princess.

Who says we have to have a man to live the life of a princess? Financially I do much better when I am single....you know....boys and their toys and all that. When I have no one to clean up behind and no one asking what's for supper and no four wheelers to buy, I have the time and determination to make my own 6 figures...plus, I get to spend it all on ME. If that isn't the life of a princess, I don't know what is.

Everyone needs money. Money is a good thing in a loving relationship. But, when relationships are solely based upon money, they can end up pretty nasty.

 

Thats why I said women dont realy need men anymore except for donating the genetic materiel to procreate. Apert from that men are kinda useless to women in this day and age. There was a time however when a pregnant woman or nursing children were easy prey for wild predators or rival tribes and having men around was more than just a convenience. To be perfectly frank...men used to need women but anymore we can live just fine without them. There are plenty of outlets that cost less than a wife and never complain about the cap being left off the tooth paste

 

I don't agree with that. People need each other for a lot of things. But, marriage is definitely not for everyone.

Well in my experience when I first meet a woman
wether she has money or not, they all ask the
same three questions
#1-what kind of car do you drive
#2-what do you do for a living
#3-how much money do you make
They dont even know they are asking these questions.
It is so socially acceptable for woman to sponge off
of men that its not their fault.
The divorce courts are a good example of this.
Women are not expected to support themselves or their children.
Its very sad because alot of young men dont feel the need to
support any 1.
One time my guy friend and I were asked out for drinks by a
very good female friend that we have helped out many times.
She wanted to do something nice for us and buy us some
drinks at a bar.When the waitress came and was waiting
for the tab to be paid my gf handed her the money.
The fkn waitress looked at me and my guy friend,
then said to my gf "what kind of losers do you hang out with"

A man's not a man if he can't take care of his family.

That has nothing to do with a woman being independent and strong on her own. That is ONLY about a man stepping up and realizing that he is supposed to have two swinging balls between his legs.

 

Sounds like you have been dealing with 'BOYs and their toys'.

A man can buy his own toys or understands that there are consequences for spending money he doesn't have and skips the purchase until he can afford it.

The difference between an adult and a child, is that an adult understands there are consequences for their actions.

A 'man' is an adult male.

 

On another note.
I have a teenage daughter{I am a single dad}.
I raised her to exept responsability for her own
life and financial affairs,so that she can marry
a man because she loves him and not because
she can get money from him{what a concept eh}
I wonder how many marriages would still be intact
if women married for love and not money?

my opinion

I hope I dont come off being to judgemental of women.
I have known some very strong indepentant woman.
Yes I am a single dad,I have tried to do my best but
women bring so much more to a family.
The quote "behind every great man is a greater woman"
is very true. look at all the men that have done great things,
then look at their wifes.
I honestly cant think of any single men that have ever
done anything great.
