This is mostly for the gentlemen out there. If your lady cut her hair short what would you do?

Would you accuse her of cutting it for someone else?

 

I've had long hair, prefer it shot easier to take care off.

 

Go for it she can cut it. It's her hair.

 

I just did this for the first time ever 3 weeks ago. I love it. He always liked it long but has been away working and I haven't seen him for 7 months. I didn't tell him. I got a lot of positive feed back and compliments from family, friends and others around town. Quite a few said it made me look much younger. Well I put off telling him till he heard it through the grape vine and when he called he asked why he was the last to know. I told him I thought he would be negative about it. He seemed a little hurt that I hadn't shared it with him. I sent him a selfie and he was kind and complimentary. I hadn't colored it in a few years and was going gray gracefully I thought and he would call me his tri- colored collie dog. Well the pony-tail is gone and I suppose he loves me for more than just my hair.

 

I'd want to know why.

A stupid man will just think nothing of it or get mad. A smart man knows a sane woman doesn't just cut her long hair she has always had off unless something changed in her life.

 

What is the saying, '' a woman's hair is her glory ''. I think.

 

my hair is dark and thick, so i cut it, i also work outside in the summer months, but he still thinks i did it for someone

 

While I personally prefer long hair, I would be ok with it as long as she made it look good.

 

If I care for any person how they choose to wear their hair does not matter.

I have a definite preference for long hair but it's not my call to tell people how they should wear their's.

 

It also depends on what you consider to be long and what you consider to be short .
To me anything shorter than shoulderlength is short but it's my arbitrary standard

Well I guess that would be categorized is short by my definition .

I feel kind of funny saying anything about other peoples fashion choices . I'm just stating my own personal opinion about what I like .

As for your guys saying that you probably did it for someone else . That seems like kind of a weird conclusion

It is entirely your choice . My experience is that most guys prefer longhair and pretty much the longer the better. So if he thinks that you're doing it for some other guy that statement from him just doesn't make any sense .
