Television actor Karan Patel has revealed that he will never participate in Salman Khan-hosted reality show, Bigg Boss. Recently, the actor appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast when he talked about the controversial reality show and clarified that he is not meant for it. Karan mentioned that he is short-tempered and therefore would not want to participate in Bigg Boss ever.

“Bigg Boss is not meant for someone like me. It’s not just the contestants who suffer inside the house; even their families and loved ones outside go through a lot. Staying locked in for three months is not easy," Karan said.

“You will never see me as a contestant on Bigg Boss. I may appear as a guest, but that’s about it. Even strong and composed people like Hiten Tejwani lost their cool on the show. I have zero tolerance—I just can’t handle that environment," the actor added.

Karan Patel further slammed the changing format of the show and argued that it is no longer interesting. “Earlier, it was a celebrity-based show, and that was interesting. Now, they bring in people from all walks of life. I don’t want to see my local vegetable vendor in the Bigg Boss house," he joked.

Karan Patel is known for shows like Kasturi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. However, Karan has been missing from the screen for a long time now. In the same interview, the actor also talked about not being offered projects when he said, “I have not gotten a single daily soap offered in the last 6 years. Now, every day, around 150-200 new actors are being born. They will work on a show at 10 percent of the amount we would charge. There was a point where there was a lot of money in TV. But today, makers think that rather than making one show, they can make two web series in the same budget."
